We hope that you find this site easy to navigate,
we have tried to make it user-friendly.
But, here are some extra clues -

Window size

For best viewing your window should be 800 pixels wide (or more).
Can you see a scroll bar at the bottom of your window? Then move the left-hand edge of your window to the left until the scroll bar disappears. Your window will then be the right width.
If you have the luxury of a 1280*1024 monitor then most of our pages will fit in your window; otherwise you might have to scroll down a bit - but not far. You should never have to scroll sideways.

External links

All external links will open in a new window.
That means you can search through the external site as you wish, and then close the new window and return to us just where you left - magic.

Back home

You can return to the home page by clicking on the Scout Logo at the top-left of each page.
This is not the same as pressing the "back button" on your browser.

Updates

Every page (except the calendar) has a footnote which says when that page was last updated.
We will also include major updates and new pages on the What's New page.
So take a look there, now and then, and keep up to date.

Download speed

All our pages should download in less than 15 seconds (56k modem) and most are less than 10 seconds.
If you have broadband - lucky you - then we won't keep you waiting.

Colours

When we chose the colours and backgrounds for our site we tried to ensure that everything was easily readable, with good contrast.
