Bradford South Scouts

The long arm of the law is reaching out to Cub Scouts across the District with the launch of a new badge - "Police and Your Neighbourhood".

Over 80 Cub Scouts from all over Bradford South turned up to the launch on Saturday 4 February 2006 at Great Horton Methodist Church - the home of the 34th Scout Group.

To achieve the new badge, Cubs will undertake several tasks over the next six weeks and certificates will be presented on Saturday 18 March 2006.

The badge is only available in Bradford where it is being piloted. It is hoped that it will then be rolled out across West Yorkshire and after that - who knows - it may go national.
